The Read To Bee 6th Grade Spelling Bee is an annual event which features students from Murfreesboro City and Rutherford County schools. Students must compete and win their individual school spelling bees before advancing to the Read To Bee Championship. The goal of this event is to promote and encourage literacy education among the students in our community. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners of the competition receive press coverage and a monetary prize.
