Books by the Bushel has an entire page dedicated to free literacy resources and activities. Their monthly calendars are an excellent resource for engaging children in literacy activities. Print these calendars and use them to plan an at-home curriculum. Even better, partner them up with the book sets.
Scholastic is the world’s largest publisher and distributor of children’s books, connecting educators and families through accessibility, engagement, and expertise. Scholastic has an entire page on its website dedicated to free teaching tools. It has articles, book lists, and collections.
Rutherford County Library System (RCLS) is comprised of six branches and a Bookmobile, serving the Greater Rutherford County community. Their purpose is to empower communities to explore, imagine, and engage. They hold free events for the community and have free technology resources as well.
